Funding is intended for programs that offer families the ability to spend less on housing and that will allow them to spend as they need for local goods and services. This program supports affordable housing as well as nonprofits that provide financial education services to residents to help them gain the skills they need to build financial freedom.

Awards to New Mexico nonprofit organizations and tribal entities to recognize exceptional impact on communities in eligible locations. Community impact must fall into one of the following priority areas: health and well-being, environment, education, civic and economic opportunities, animal welfare, and arts and culture. Awardees must have a proven track record and serve Santa Fe, Mora, Rio Arriba, and San Miguel counties.

Grants of up to $15,000 to New Jersey small and medium-sized businesses impacted by road closures in eligible regions. Funding is intended to cover working capital expenses for businesses experiencing decreased revenue due to disrupted supply chains and reduced customer access. Eligible businesses are those impacted by the eastbound Interstate 80 closures in Morris County.

Grants to Virginia nonprofit organizations for programs, projects, and services that are responsive to important community needs in eligible regions. Funding is specifically intended to support proposals for timely and needed projects that focus on youth or adults in the local community. Eligible organizations support residents in the city of Charlottesville, or the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson, and Orange.

Grants of up to $2,000 to Saskatchewan nonprofit arts and cultural organizations and Tribal entities for activities that address critical needs. Funding is intended to support creative grassroots projects that respond to needs or changes in the cultural sector and create access and pathways for first-time and underserved applicants.

Grants of up to $2,500 to USA freelance journalists to research and write pieces of investigative journalism. Funding is intended to conduct preliminary reporting that will lead to full investigations. Funding may be used for initial reporting trips and open-records requests.

Grants to Alabama nonprofit organizations, government entities, educational institutions, and faith-based organizations to enhance the quality of life for residents in eligible locations. Funding is intended for projects and programs in the following areas of focus: mental health and wellness, the arts, education and workforce development, leadership development and economic opportunity. Preference will be given to proposals that involve collaboration. The program and/or activities must serve the Tri-City community which is comprised of Foley, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and surrounding communities.

Grants to New Mexico businesses for workforce training programs. Applicants must submit an eligibility form prior to submitting a full proposal. Funding is intended for coursework, on-the-job training, and a combination of the two. The goal of the program is to promote the creation of new jobs in expanding or relocating businesses.

Opportunity for Massachusetts entrepreneurs to participate in a business contest. Participants will receive feedback on their business ideas and have the opportunity to win cash prizes. The program is intended for entrepreneurs in the business stage. Pitches will be presented at a public event. Eligible applicants are located in Berkshire.

Grants to California organizations, individuals, and groups for initiatives that support equity within the criminal justice system in eligible regions. Funding is available for events, program support, and addressing racial inequities in marginalized communities. Eligible proposals must benefit marginalized communities in Santa Clara County.

Residencies to USA artists and researchers to develop new creative projects. Eligible projects are those inspired by significant pieces of architecture from the 20th century. In addition to monetary support, successful applicants will be given accommodations and access to a campus containing significant works of architecture. The purpose of the program is to nurture creativity of artists, writers, scholars, and others from multiple disciplines, expand interpretation of the historic site, engage public audiences, and strengthen the site and region as a center for arts, architecture, and culture.

Grants of up to $10,000 to California nonprofit organizations, community groups, local government agencies, and coalitions in eligible regions for programs that increase access to parks and recreational opportunities. Funding is intended to assist with existing projects that improve outdoor access or remove barriers to parks for any community where an inequity can be addressed. Funds will support projects that include trips, outreach, and improved access to parks, open space preserves, and recreation facilities in Marin County.

Awards of $5,000 to Nova Scotia early-stage scholars at institutions of higher education for research studies related to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Funding is intended to recognize outstanding researchers, including students and trainees, at different stages of career development. This opportunity seeks to strengthen the recruitment and retention of researchers in Nova Scotia, aligning with Heart & Stroke’s strategic mission priorities.

Grants of up to $5,000 to New York community-based organizations for programs and projects that benefit residents in eligible locations. Funding is intended for projects in the focus areas of community enrichment, historical preservation, reducing poverty, and arts and culture. Priority will be given to projects supporting historic preservation at this time. Eligible projects that benefit residents of the Village of Brockport, and the towns of Sweden and Clarkson.

Grants to Nebraska nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and tribal entities to address juvenile delinquency. Funding is intended to prepare, implement, manage, and assess policies and projects for the development of more effective delinquency prevention efforts. Priority will be given to applications that implement evidence-based programs and promising practices. Programs and services shall be designed to serve and target youth who are eleven through eighteen years of age.

Grants and in-kind support to Ohio nonprofit organizations to increase civic participation in eligible regions. Funding is intended to support projects and events for local voting-age residents. Focus areas include mobilization and activation, engagement and education, and capacity building. The goal of the program is to educate, connect, and empower voting-age constituents in the Greater Cleveland area.

Grants to Illinois local government agencies to acquire and develop property for public parks and open spaces. Funding is intended for the acquisition and development of lands for public use as parks and open spaces. Grants may be used to purchase land for new park sites or park expansion, nature studies, and natural resource preservation.

Grants of up to $750 and grants of up to $1,000 to Ontario community groups and elementary schools in eligible regions for conservation initiatives. Funding is intended for landscaping, including tree-planting and pollinator gardens, and ecosystem preservation. Eligible applicants are located within the Grand River watershed.

Contract for services to a Kentucky executive search firm to recruit and select an executive director for a historical hotel and museum in eligible regions. The selected firm will be responsible for developing a recruitment strategy, screening candidates, coordintating interviews, checking references, and providing consultation. The firm will demonstrate a strong record of successful placements in the nonprofit and cultural sectors, particularly with museum leadership.

In-kind grant of sports equipment to a Michigan nonprofit organization, community-based organization, or school to promote softball and baseball for children ages 9-12 in eligible locations. The program provides sports equipment that benefits youth and children. Qualifying youth baseball organizations within Royal Oak and the surrounding communities can apply.
